Madkot, commonly known as beach bat is played by most Israelis at every beach. The beach bat "babes" line the beach as close to the sea as possible. This is a nightmare for all other beach goers because you cannot walk along the seashore or get to the sea for a swim for fear of being struck in the eye or on the head by a small rubber ball zooming at a speed of 200km/h (or thereabouts). These rubber balls are normally hit with tremendous force so that the opponent has no chance in hell of being able to return the ball! I missed the theme day about "what I hate about my city" but this would definitely top the list.

There’s a novel idea. Going to the beach wearing a helmet… I understand your frustration.
Nice shot & the information you priveded...really needs to be safeguarded!
What you've described certainly sounds like something that most anyone would hate about their city....but for me, a close second would have to be men wearing Speedo swimsuits.
this post made me smile - really enjoyed your wording "the opponent has no chance in hell..." - sweet! It adds emotion, drama and humor to the pic - ;)
