A photo a day from the "City that Never Sleeps".
that's pity...i love more fresh stuff and not plastic stuff
I wonder what caused the switch? I would think people would have to eat first and buy clothes second. Abraham Lincoln's kidney stone attack...I rolled on the floor, puked, screamed, and passed out. When I woke up the neighbor was gone. Brookville Daily Photo
I adore the markets where one can excavate to buy anything.and not always what one has need
Very beautiful color of autumnhere nature just starts to make green
The shuk is still packed with fruits, vegetables, flowers, herbs, spices, cheese and salads. This is just the very beginning...where the tourists start. Continue a few meters and the real shuk begins, go to the end and turn and the real, real shuk begins. Carol (who goes there daily)
Thanks Carol. I did go far into the shuk but obviously not far enough. I remember a few years back there was less clothing and much more food. I think that less people are going there because of the supermarkets.
By the way, I forgot to mention that I look for your photos every day and enjoy and forward you to friends!Carol
I love to go to thins kind of markets because you can find a lot of things anf the people is very kind
I visited a similar market in India, but I must say environmental pollution is excessive there. it's a great place to take vacations, but the government from there definitely needs to enhance a little bit in this aspect.
I suppose those changes from Fruit to cloth are because of the weather and market needs!!!Very interesting...I love markets because of the possibility of fruits and different fuood I can get
