Manhole Covers

I had never noticed designs on manhole covers, until I joined the Daily Photo group. Tel Aviv's manhole covers are very boring. But then I found this one in Ramat Gan (suburb of Tel Aviv). Not bad, some nice palm tree designs to show that we're still in Israel. Nearly weekend, yay!!

Neat design. Guess I will have to check out Selma's manhole covers. I never thought about that!

Pretty unusual design for manhole. In some rough neighborhood in city of Cleveland, some people stole and sold it as scraps.

Very interesting design. I like the contrasting colors and shapes (the bronze circle in the iron square) as well as the images.

that looks kind of exotic, for a manhole cover!

I haven't found any decent covers here in St. Paul yet, but I keep looking. Your photo makes the manhole cover look like a work of art,
