Red Tree Flowers

A couple of days ago I showed you photos of a red tree. Here are the tree's flowers. They're beautiful, like flames. Now does anyone know what kind of tree this is? I really would like to know.

It looks a bit like a Flame Tree but a lot of different trees have this same common name. I think it could be "Delonix regia"
Common Names: royal poinciana, flamboyant tree, flame tree, peacock flower
Hope this helps; it certainly is a beautiful tree.

I posted a comment in your previous post about this tree:

In Hindi we call it gulmohor which literally means 'stamp of a rose', I think. In English, it's called the Royal Poinciana.
It's odd that it's flowering at this time of the year in Tel Aviv, 'cause most of the gulmohor trees in Dubai stopped flowering at the beginning of June. What do you guys feed your trees?! :)

Hi, Yes it called "Delonix" We have plenty of these plants in Thailand and it give us singnal that we are in true summer time when they have no leaves at all...

In Thailand, we named it "Peacock tail" tree. We have yellow, orange and red colours.

It's truly beautiful.

This is a Royal Poinciana. They are most prevelent in central and northern Israel, since the southern part tends to be too dry for the tree to thrive.

It is also known by the names Gulmohar, Flamboyant Tree, Peacock Flower, Flame of the Forest and Flame Tree. More pics can be seen at http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/551461389NomQlh
