It's Good to be Home

Had a great time in the UK, but it's good to be back! This is a photo I took just before I left of a little girl feeding the pigeons at Rabin Square.

I didn't know you were a fellow Brit! Where from originally?
We're planning a trip back in Oct. and as it's been 2 years now I can't wait!

Ooops, I was being presumptuous - not everyone who visits the UK is actually from there ;)
On a side note, have you read Don't Lets Go To The Dogs Tonight but Alexandra Fuller? It's a fantastic book about Zimbabwe.

Am glad to have found your blog! :)

Don't mean to go off topic... but I would like to seek your comments on whether Tel Aviv is family friendly, or rather child friendly? And is it safe??

My hubby is going to be posted there in Mar next year for 9 months, and I am wondering if it is advisable for me and my 1.5 year old son to join him. He said we will be bored stiff with nothing to do. Is that true? Is the area that unsafe that we have to stay locked at home all the time? How about the traffic? We will be staying in Tel Aviv, near LOD Airbase.

Really appreciate it if you can reply me here, or email me at iemuhs@mail.com cos I don't seem to find much information on the internet on the safety of foreign families in Tel Aviv. Thanks a million!!
