Hamsa

It's raining today, so I haven't gone out much. I thought I'd show you a picture of the hamsa that hangs in my apartment. It's shaped like the bird of peace too. I love this Hamsa! I sort of collect hand motif items and share them with my friends. All of us are or used to be sign language interpreters.. so the hand is our tool of the trade. Thanks for sharing this.

That is gorgeous!! I believe the very same thing is called "ramsa" in parts (?) of North Africa and it is also said to bring good luck.
